Focus on Photography
Anne Russell has taught photography for 30 years and is an accredited judge for the Photographic Society of Queensland. http://www.psq.org.au/ She offers practical, hands-on classes to help you understand how to adjust your camera to do what you want it to do and how to capture memorable images.
Various Focus on Photography courses are offered, or a special individual workshop can be designed to suit your needs. Each course is limited to six participants to ensure personalised instruction. Courses are held at Kenmore (13km west of Brisbane), or at your venue, or online wherever you are in the world.
Compact Digital Cameras (put in
your pocket cameras)
- 2 x 3 hour sessions or 2 week online course ($100)
SLR or Prosumer Digital Cameras (with
ability to change aperture, shutter speed, etc.)
- 5 x 3 hour sessions or 2 x full days or 4 weeks online ($310)
Master Class Out on Location
- 1 day - Includes half day shooting & half day reviewing and critiquing
the photos ($100)
Master Class Online
- 4 weeks – Experiment with a photo assignment each week. Receive
stimulation and critique ($150)
Flash Photography Basics (using on-camera
pop-up flash or external flash unit on-camera)
- 3 hours – practical session where you will use your camera with flash to
apply the most effective use of flash to enhance your images ($60)
Individual Workshop or Course
- 3 hours minimum – arranged to suit your personal needs ($250 for 3 hrs)
